Art Connects Us, to our environment, our communities, and to each other.

I create paintings to draw the viewer in for a good long stay, to linger and discover the work's individual elements are as compelling as the whole.

My high-chroma abstractions are designed to connect with the viewer, to elicit an up-close interaction with the materials, and an experience of emotion from a distance. The visual energy and complexity in my work springs forth from the alchemy of color, texture, movement and depth.

Creating a piece that beautifies an environment and touches someone is a gift.

An award winning professional artist, I show throughout the East Bay including:
East Bay Open Studios in Jack London Square and Pro Arts Gallery in Oakland, The Alameda Museum, Sotheby’s and Town Hall Theater in Lafayette, The Village Gallery in Danville, the Bankhead Theater, Wente Estate Tasting Room and Cuda Ridge Winery in Livermore, and the Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton. I am also a contributing artist in the Blackburn & Friends art collective based in San Francisco.
