My work celebrates connection: with our emotion, our history, or a deep sense of place.
My paintings are thresholds, each designed to create a personal experience for the viewer,
and a space to breathe in our busy lives.
The visual energy and complexity in my work springs forth from the alchemy of
color, texture, movement and depth.
Creating a piece that touches someone and elevates their environment is a gift.
An award winning professional artist, I have shown throughout the East Bay including:
East Bay Open Studios in Jack London Square and Pro Arts Gallery in Oakland,
Collector Art Shop in Berkeley, The Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery, Sotheby’s and Town Hall Theater in Lafayette,
The Village Gallery in Danville, The Bankhead Theater, Wente Estate Tasting Room
and Cuda Ridge Winery in Livermore, and the Firehouse Arts Center in Pleasanton,
And as a contributing artist in the Blackburn & Friends art collective based in San Francisco.
